Hello my dear friends! You've probably noticed that I haven't updated in over two months. I've come to the decision that I no longer want to update Magic Dust. At the moment I am just going to keep the site open without updates, so you guys can still view all the content.

You guys are probably wondering why I am deciding to close down. Well for one thing I'm a full time university student which keeps me quite busy and I have other activities/hobbies that also take up time. Btw, I dunno if you guys know but I'm studying graphic design in uni and it's great! I'm learning loads of interesting things so by no means am I giving up designing. But I find that I no longer enjoy updating and I feel it isn't giving me much fulfillment.

But I really want to thank everyone who has visited Magic Dust since it first opened. This site has definitely come a long long way since it's beginning. I've been able to meet some really awesome people through this site and hopefully I have inspired some of you to be creative. I want you guys to all rock out and keep on making art, whatever form it may be in!

And keep an eye out cause who's to say I won't start up a new project in the future. Take care guys!

Well classes have started again. And surprisingly I am thrilled to get back to work. Maybe it's because I had a very boring summer for the most part. I hope everyone else had a great summer. It actually started to get chilly again. I'm get the autumn feeling creeping through me. I love autumn so much!
So believe it or not I have 3 new pieces today! And would you believe it, I actually really really love how all three of them turned out!

The first piece is completely London themed! I've been trying to hard to make a beautiful London piece. After a lot of tweaking, I got the piece looking pretty nice. Second is a vector of Anna Popplewell. I really love how this one came out! When I was working on it I was really unsure about all the yellow and red but it all came together great. I think it makes a wonderfully bold statement. And lastly is a drawing of a ballerina done with nothing but a black marker. This one was a really challenge. Trying to create the illusion of a human figure with only black and white was tricky. But the end result is quite rewarding.

Bonjour! How's everyone been doing? Not gone too crazy due to my lack of updates, I hope. I've been away on vacation the last 2 weeks so I've been completely computer free for a while. It was nice to get away for a bit just before studies start up again, which I'm actually looking forward to.
I have some more icons today. They are Pride and Prejudice icons and two icons featuring Iker Casillas because Mary-Jane asked for them.

I'm surprisingly happy with the way the pride and prejudice icons came out. They have a certain crispness to them that I like. I'm actually working on some bigger pieces right now so expect those in the next update.

Hi! Like I said before if anyone has any particular thing they would like to see a tutorial on please be sure to tell me. But by this mean I mean tutorials on different techniques not things like "how did you make that wallpaper?".
Well I have new icons for this update. I made some Wimbledon, Euro Cup, and Harry Potter icons.

Hello! How is everyone doing? I know I haven't updated in about a month. I'm sorry for keeping you guys waiting so long. Just haven't been having such a great summer and that has sort of affected my desire to make new art. So I don't have a whole lot in this update. And what's more my boys lost in the Euro Cup finals to Spain. I was crushed when Germany lost. Really I was just miserable afterwards and still am about it. Gosh I get sad everytime I think about it. I think I'm going to making so footie pieces next to cheer myself up a bit.
I do have one new piece. It's another Lord of the Rings piece featuring Sam and Elanor.

I hope you guys like it. Just went for a very calm and serene look.
I was thinking that since I did get some positive responses a long ways back when I added tutorials to the site that I would make more. And since the tutorials are primarily for you guys, I thought it would be a nice idea to hear what it is you would like to see as far as tutorials. Just leave your thoughts in the comment box or email me. And I will have a look at your suggestions.
